The ad goes on to talk about the "1-2-3 Punch Weight Loss" contained in this "revolutionary new formula." It apparently contains the ingredients such as an appetite suppressant, metabolism booster and a fat blocker.

Hmmmm….That pretty much is all it said on the nicely done graphics when I opened the email. What I can’t figure out is why did the person who sent me that email not write up a little cover letter explaining what the product is, where it comes from and who makes the dang stuff! 

I’ll tell you why. Because it is an offer that is spam sent with the sole purpose of getting you to click on that graphic. When you do, the sender makes a nice little commission. Isn’t that sweet! You don’t even have to buy their worthless product.

How do I know it’s worthless? Come on! Dieting supplements can and do work but only in conjuction with proper diet and exercise and NEVER that much weight in 15 days. To do that would be crash dieting and nothing could be worse! Plain and simple. 

I’m not against advertising. It’s what makes the world go around but when it comes to stuff people are going to potentially put into their bodies and affect their health one way or another…people are shameless!

Unfortunately way to many of you out there fall for this type of stuff. Desperate to get a weight condition under control and hoping for the right product to do it in 15 days will get a lot of people seeing those Nutri-System girls dancing in their heads and reaching for their pocket books.

Eventually the purchasers of these products find out the hard way that they’ve yet again wasted their money. This in turn gives the entire weight loss and appetite suppressant community another black eye.

There are products out there that do work. They don’t all work exactly the same way for everyone but many people I know do find great success.

One way to cut the confusion and frustration is to pay attention to how the product is being marketed. If I were the manufactorer of a legitimate product I would in no way permit this type of spam mailing in order to sell it. That is your first clue.

If the product being promoted in your inbox…and it can be any product…looks quick, shifty and has very little info unless you click the button…delete it! You are more likely to find good products from advertisers who are willing to tell you up front what it is they are selling. They will also include a company name, location and other contact info letting you know who they are.

You are never completely safe from scammers but paying attention just a little can save you big time in more ways that one!
